My name is Kurt Hummel and I'll be auditioning for the role of Blaine Anderson's submissive.
"Y-you don’t have to, you know," he said softly. "I just figured…" he shrugged. "Someone might be there. But it’s all right- I can drive myself."
Kurt shook his head. “I’ll take you.” He repeated. “I owe Alex a playground trip anyway.”
"I know," he whispered. "Do you, um… You could drive me to my AA meeting? Someone there might have the answers? Maybe? I don’t know," he sighed, burying his face in his hands.
Kurt nodded. “I’ll drop you off. But then I need to be with Alex. He needs us. No matter what you’re going through.”
"Fine." With that, Alex pushed back and walked briskly down the hall, slamming the door to the nursery closed.
Blaine chanced a glance back up to Kurt, then to the wall. “I don’t know how to fix this,” he whispered.
Kurt shook his head sadly. “I don’t know either. And there’s nothing I’d like more than to leave it up to my Sir but… I can’t.”
"Well I don’t feel safe to do that. So I’ll pass,” he snapped, glaring at Kurt now.
Blaine shrunk a little in his seat, looking at his cup.
Kurt bit back a comment about attitude, reminding himself that he was not the parent right now. “Fine. We’ll work something out.”
"Okay," he whispered, and that was that. The silence between everyone was uncomfortable, but probably needed in this case, and he rubbed his arm gently.
"I’m not going to be little around you,” Alex snapped suddenly, fixing a glare on Blaine.
Kurt jumped, startled. He hadn’t expected that. “Alex…” He began, hesitant, “You need to be however you feel. That’s what keeps you happiest.”
"I’m sorry, I just don’t know what you want me to do," he whispered, crossing his arms protectively over his chest, taking a glance at Alex and looked away slowly.
Kurt sighed. “Just… Stay here. With us. And try to earn our trust back.”
Blaine took another breath and looked to the wall, trembling. “D-do I need to leave? For a couple days maybe? Give you two space? What do you need from me?”
Kurt shook his head frantically. “Don’t you dare! You’ll stay right here, where I can keep an eye on you.”
"I-I know," he whispered, burying his face in his hands. "I don’t know how you can trust me either. I don’t expect you to, at least."
Alex just sat there with a stony expression, arms crossed as he leaned back in his chair.
"Well, we won’t. Not for a while. You’ll have to earn that trust back, Blaine, and I don’t really know how."
"I know," he whispered, leaning back. "I just thought that I would get the stupid promotion and we could celebrate." He sighed. "I don’t know what I was thinking.
"And when you get that promotion -which you will one day, I tell you all the time- you’ll come to me and I will pour you a glass. This was a terrible decision, Blaine. I don’t know how to trust you right now.”
Blaine felt like he was going to vomit. And not just because of the damn hangover he had, but because he disappointed Kurt and Alex, and he didn’t like that feeling. He fucked up, and now he had to face the consequences. “I… I may have picked up a bottle a couple weeks ago. I thought we were going to be celebrating at this point so I hid it for a surprise.”
Kurt was furious. “There’s a reason our liquor cabinet is locked, Blaine! And you know that! You agreed!”
