My name is Kurt Hummel and I'll be auditioning for the role of Blaine Anderson's submissive.
"I know," he whispered, trembling slightly. "I broke your trust, and I’m determined to get it back. It’ll take awhile, and I know you both will go at different speeds, but… I just hope I get it back eventually."
Kurt nodded. “Let’s just… be us for a little. And let the baby nap.”
Blaine nodded. “And I can respect that,” he said softly, reaching out slowly to hold his hand out, hoping Kurt would take it. “I will always respect that.
Kurt squeezed his hand. “I’m trying. I just can’t promise anything about him.”
Blaine got up and fixed Kurt a cup, just the way he liked it and set it in front of him. The way he saw it, he didn’t really deserve their love in that moment, but he decided not to voice this. “And.. what does that mean for you? For us?” he asked softly, curious.
"I means that I love you. That you’re my husband and I want to be yours. But I just need some time."
"Maybe," he whispered, making sure his pacifier was in place before going off into a small doze, trying his hardest not to have nightmares about his dad.
Kurt rejoined Blaine with a sigh. “That could have gone better. You owe that little boy a lot.”
Alex gave a small sigh, but nodded. “Jus’ hurt my heart,” he whispered, rubbing his eyes. “May I take a nap? You two can go somewhere… I just wanna be small a yittle bit an’ take a nap.”
Kurt nodded, tucking him in. “I’ll wake you when it’s time to go. We’ll try the park again, ok?”
"J-jus’ like my dad and I not like that one bit. I not forgive him quite yet. I yove him, but I can’t forgive him.," he whispered, sniffing.
Kurt nodded. “Alright, but we still need to be family, ok? He still loves you, and with the exception of this one time, he has always been good to you. Even this time, you have to remember: He scared you, yes, but he was not violent or aggressive towards you.”
"No," he said, very stubborn. "No, I stay right here in my little boy clothes, with my little boy stuff away from meanie Baine."
"Alex." Kurt said in a warning tone, "I understand that you’re upset, but you need to realize that not all of this is his fault. Alcoholism is a disease. You don’t have to forgive him but you have to remember he’s family."
Alex nodded, rubbing his eyes. “I not bein little in fronta him,” he whispered. “Right now I need to not have big boy thoughts, but I can’t do dat with him. Not now.”
Kurt nodded. “I respect that and so does Blaine. Can you at least handle a car trip? I need to take him to an appointment.”
